We gathered together in the gym for an assembly.  

Our new mascot is the Falcon.   Ms. Pavlichek, from the Buelington Scince Center, surprised us with a real falcon.

We played pin the feather on the turkey and ended the assembly with a dance.

A Special Visitor

Have you heard about the baby snapping turtle?  Miss Pavlichek, from the Burlington Science Center, brought a baby snapping turtle to our room.  The snapping turtle will stay in our room for a few weeks.  As part of our nonfiction writing program, we will research turtles and record our findings in a research notebook.
